Phlip should have just told the truth to his teacher Miss Narwin, his parents and principals. If he would have put a good answer in for his winter exams and got a passing grade, he would be on the track team and not in this mess.

Philip doesn’t really care about what is going on in the newspaper. He just thinks that he is always right. Miss. Narwin was really just doing her job and telling Philip to stop humming during the national anthem. I agree with Miss. Narwin, I do not think that Philip should have been suspended. I think they should have just talked it out. I also agree with Philip, he was showing respect for the country and being patriotic. I am excited to see how this story will end.

I’m very disappointed in Philip and how he has allowed this to go on. If he would have gone to Miss. Narwin and asked for help or even made an effort to do well in English class things would have been better for him. He seemed to have fooled his parents and the community but I don’t think his peers are fooled.
What do you think of Philip’s actions?
